Clients: ByteDance · TikTok · Douyin · CapCut

Led the creative and production effort for designing, prototyping and releasing new AR and AIGC effects, mini-games, and interactive features across TikTok, Douyin, CapCut and other ByteDance video apps.

Impact: Built the North America effects team from 0 to 1, making effects a major driver of TikTok downloads. Several shipped effects earned App Store homepage features.

State-of-the-art platform for designing creative AR effects for TikTok. Led UI/UX design and built scripting debug tools to make the interface intuitive for first-time creators while staying powerful for seasoned effect designers.

Impact: Lowered the barrier to entry for effect creation across novice and pro tiers.
